Georgia Rule. Jane Fonda, Felicity Huffman and Lindsay Lohan.

Rachel comes to stay with her Grandmother Georgia for the summer leaving some obvious problems behind at home. Her alcoholic mother doesn't even stay the night before rushing back out to California to be with her husband. Rachel shakes up the town, a beautiful girl in the boring Mormon country. Then she reveals her deepest secret to one of her new friends, and her mother comes rushing back to find out if its true. In the midst of this crisis the three woman become closer than ever and start to understand each other more.

Good movie but probably not something I would really watch again.  I own this one but I'm honestly not sure why I do.  It was a bit raunchy for my taste.  Plus not a big Lohan fan.  Never really have been even before the drug abuse started.  I think she's an okay actress but not someone to write home about.  Jane Fonda gave a better performance in Monster-In-Law than this one.  Felicity Huffman should have sat this one out.  She's much better on Desperate Housewives.  It kind of drug on and on for me.  It could have ended sooner than it did I think.  If you're really bored and have seen every other movie out there than I would say go ahead and watch it.  Me personally I doubt I'll watch it again.

If I were rating this movie I would probably give it a 2 out of 5

Step Up 3. Sharni Vinson, Rick Malambri and Adam G. Sevani

A tight-knit group of New York City street dancers, including Luke and Natalie, team up with NYU freshman Moose, and find themselves pitted against the world's best hip hop dancers in a high-stakes showdown that will change their lives forever.

Okay I'm a sucker for dance movies.  I love them all.  This was a good movie, but I was kind of disappointed that they didn't somehow tie this one into the first one.  The second one had Channing Tatum in it for a split second, but it still tied the fist two together.  So I wish they would have someone tied this into the first or at least the second one.  If you like dance movies I would recommend it.  If you're not into dance movies then don't watch.  The actor weren't great but not horrible either.  It was a bunch of people I had never heard of before.  If I were to give it my absolute personal rating I would give it a 5 out of 5 but that's my pure personal rating.

If I were rating this movie (non personal) I would probably give it a 3 out of 5

The Guardian. Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher.

A high school swim champion with a troubled past enrolls in the U.S. Coast Guard's "A" School, where legendary rescue swimmer Ben Randall teaches him some hard lessons about loss, love, and self-sacrifice.

WOW!  Such a powerful movie.  Seeing Ashton in a more serious role instead of a comedic one was a bit different, but he sure pulled it off.  Kevin Costner as always did a Fantastic job.  It was nice to kind of get an idea of how our Coast Guard works and they put their lives on the line everyday just like any other military division.  Knowing someone in the Coast Guard made it a little hard for me to watch, but I'm SO glad I did.  It was great.  It did make it on my movie wishlist to buy.  Again another great action flick to recommend.

If I was rating this movie I would give it a 4 3/4 out of 5

RED. Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, John Malcovich and Mary Louise Parker

When his peaceful life is threatened by a high-tech assassin, former black-ops agent Frank Moses reassembles his old team in a last ditch effort to survive and uncover his assailants.

What an All-Star cast this one had.  Such an action packed yet hilarious movie.  What can I say about all the actors in this one.  They are all such talented actors/actresses who put on one heck of a performance.  It was a very well made movie.  It kept you guessing till the end, yet made you almost pee your pants with the hilariousness that was in it.  I bought this one the day it came out.  I love it and have watched it again and again.

If I was rating this movie I would give it a 5 out of 5.

The A-Team. Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Sharlto Copley

A group of Iraq War veterans looks to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.

Well seeing as how I'm only 27, I've never seen The A-Team as a television show.  So I don't have that to compare the movie to, but as a movie I thought it was great!  Lots of action and edge of your seatness.  As always Bradley Cooper was very nice eye candy to look at!  Oops probably a little to personal there.  LOL.  Back to the movie, Bradley gave an amazing performance I thought.  Liam Neeson as always did a great job.  He's a terrific actor in my book.  The quality of the movie was just awesome overall.  The stunt work was great, the effects were great, and the visuals were just terrific.  Very highly recommended if you want a good action flick.

If I was rating this movie I would give it a 5 out 5

Wanted. James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie.

A frustrated office worker learns that he is the son of a professional assassin, and that he shares his father's superhuman killing abilities.

Again another good action flick but a little too Gorey in some parts for my taste.  Angelina is becoming quite the action star. She's not one of my favorite actress' but she can play a good action character by far.  I personally think for never hearing of James McAvoy he did a wonderful job in this movie.  As always Morgan Freeman gave an amazing performance.

If I was rating this movie I would give it a 4 1/4 out of 5.

Salt

A CIA agent goes on the run after a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy.

Not one of my favorite action movies but not one of my least favorite either.  It for sure kept you guessing and the action hardly let up.  I don't know if there is much more I can really say about this one.

If I was rating this one I'd probably give it a 4 out of 5.

The Social Network. Jesse Eisenburg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake.

A chronicle of the founding of Facebook, the social-networking Web site.

This one deserved every Academy Award nomination it got.  It was a little confusing to me at first because Jesse Eisenburg's "character" seeing as he played a real person, talked to extremely fast.  After it got out of that first scene at the bar I was able to follow it a lot better.  There wasn't a actor that did a bad job in this movie.  It was fantastic!

If I was rating this movie I would give it a 5 out of 5.

The Other Guys. Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlburg, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson.

Two mismatched New York City detectives seize an opportunity to step up like the city's top cops whom they idolize -- only things don't quite go as planned.

One word...HILARIOUS!  I haven't laughed at a movie that hard in a long while.  It was funny, action packed, and in some parts even serious.  I think the best Will Ferrell since Old School.  Mark Wahlburg did an amazing job in the comedy department.  I've never seen him do anything in the area of comedy before and I thought he did fantastic.  This one never made it to my movie wishlist cause I bought it right after I watched it from Netflix.

If I was rating this movie I'd give it a 5 out of 5

Transformers. Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Voight, Anthony Anderson

An ancient struggle re-erupts on Earth between two extraterrestrial clans, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons, with a clue to the ultimate power held by a young teenager.

Seeing as how I am a girl and was never into Transformers as a kid, I wasn't sure if I even wanted to see this movie.  My little brother convinced me to give it shot after seeing how much I enjoyed Iron Man.  I'm so glad I listened to him.  I feel in love with it, and was kind of glad I waited to see it cause then I just went and stole the second one from him right away.  I'd never seen a movie with Megan Fox in it before so I wasn't sure what to expect from her as an actress.  I thought she did a very good job.  I have ti give it to her too, the girl is gorgeous.  All in all if you're into Transformers or just the science fiction type films I personally think it's a must see.

If I was rating this movie I would give it a 5 out of 5.

Cop Out. Bruce Willis and Tracey Morgan.

A comedy about a veteran NYPD cop whose rare baseball card is stolen. Since it's his only hope to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding, he recruits his partner to track down the thief, a memorabilia-obsessed gangster.

I was quite disappointed with this one.  I was so excited to see it and was really let down by it.  I didn't think it was half as funny as it was made out to be.  I've honestly seen Bruce give better performances too.  Tracey Morgan seemed a lot like his character on 30 Rock.  Now I could be very wrong about that because I've only seen a couple of 30 Rock episodes.  This one just really let me down.

If I was rating this one I would give it 3 out of 5

Inception. Leonardo Dicaprio, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon Levit,

In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a highly skilled thief is given a final chance at redemption which involves executing his toughest job to date: Inception.

I personally thought this movie was amazing!  Quite a few people didn't agree with me on that one.  Let me first say though, I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer.  I have quite a few blonde moments and I'm not blonde.  But I followed this movie to a T.  Now if you're someone who hasn't seen this movie but wants to, let me help you out a bit.  There are 5 dreams in all.  I thought the graphics were outstanding.  The actors were amazing.  Ellen page seeing her out of the comedy-ish roles was surprisingly nice.  She's a very talented actress.  Leo gave a terrific performance in this one.  I think it should have gotten more recognition from the Academy than just for the visual effects.  I do understand why it won that Academy Award though.

If I was rating this one I would give it a 5 out of 5.

Knight and Day. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

June Havens finds her everyday life tangled with that of a secret agent who has realized he isn't supposed to survive his latest mission. As their campaign to stay alive stretches across the globe, they soon learn that all they can count on is each other.

First off I must say how I'm not that big of a Tom Cruise fan.  Especially after he went off the deep end and criticized people for being on anti depressants.  As to how I'm a person who is on them.  I wanted to see this movies because it looked good, but the whole Tom Cruise thing was holding me back.  Then I seen several people say how funny it was and decided why not let's watch it.  I have to admit I'm glad I did!  I thought it was a very good movie.  These are the kind of action packed movies I enjoy, where their isn't a lot of gory detail being shown when someone is killed.  It was a funny movie.  I don't know if I would go as far as saying it's hilarious as I've heard from some people but it was funny.  The action kept me on edge and there was never a dull moment.  It has been added to my movie wishlist.  Which is my list of movies I want to own.  It's getting quite long thanks to Netflix.  I think they're costing me a lot more than 14.99 a month, seeing as how I want to own a lot of them after watching them.  Too bad money doesn't grow on trees.

If I were rating it I would give it 4 out of 5 stars.

My story

To my readers,
My name is Jacquelyn and I am LOVING movies right now.  I've been watching a ton of movies lately and am obsessed with Netflix, so I post about them a lot on my Facebook page.  I had a couple of friends say I should start a blog talking about all the movies I've watched.  I thought it was a pretty darn good idea.  So hear I am.  I'm no expert in the least, just someone that wants to share what I think of movies.  Plus being a stay at home mom (and I mean that literally, I hardly get to leave my house) gets kind of boring sometimes when the kiddie is napping.  So again I want to stress not an expert hear.   Just the everyday common movie watcher.  I have watched a ton of movies lately but have kept a list.  It's a very long list so just give me time to get them all posted.  It may take a little bit.  So here's to hoping I get some followers so I have a reason to be doing this.  :)
